Questions about University of Bayreuth

Yes, if your qualification is from abroad. uni-assist checks your transcripts and issues one VPD per university, which takes about 6 to 8 weeks. You upload the VPD with your application in the University of Bayreuth's CAMPUSonline portal. Requesting a VPD alone is not an application.

You must request the VPD from uni-assist by the application deadline of your programme at the latest, and submit your application in CAMPUSonline on time. The VPD request only counts as made in time when all required documents are uploaded to uni-assist and the uni-assist fees are paid before that deadline. If you did both, you can upload the VPD within a grace period of up to four weeks after the deadline. The grace period only applies if all your other application documents are uploaded correctly and completely, and for restricted programmes or those with an aptitude assessment the university may set a shorter deadline.

They differ by programme, and non-EU applicants often have earlier end dates. For example, many programmes list 15 April to 15 July for non-EU applicants in the winter semester. Only for some programmes. The M.Sc. Economics requires the GRE only if your degree is from a university outside the EU. The English-taught M.Sc. Check your programme's row in the table for this and for other requirements, such as a minimum grade or an aptitude assessment.
