About the programme

European Film Business and Law is a continuing education Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Potsdam, run together with the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. It takes 4 semesters and 120 credit points, is taught in English, starts in the winter semester, and is held at the Griebnitzsee campus, the Film University and online. The programme is built for skilled workers and executives from the film and TV industry. It gives you a broad view of the European audiovisual and entertainment industry from both a business and a legal angle, at a time when the digital single market, skills shortages and digitalisation are changing how film and TV companies work. Alongside academic teaching, you get practice-related knowledge, an interdisciplinary exchange, and access to industry professionals and their networks.
