About the programme
Sports, Exercise and Human Performance is a research-focused Master of Science at the University of Münster. It centres on scientific methods and international standards, without sport-specific practice, and prepares you for research-based work: making evidence-based decisions, generating knowledge, and carrying out diagnostics, planning and evaluation on your own, along with leadership and communication skills. Modules cover exercise and sports psychology, human movement, exercise and sports biology, advanced research methods, skills for scientific job markets, a current research project and professional specialisation. A fast-track route combines the Master's with the start of a PhD. The programme has 120 ECTS over four semesters, is taught in English and starts in winter only. It is designed for graduates with skills in natural and behavioural sciences, including medical aspects of sport, and research methods.
