About the programme
International Economic Policy is a Master of Science at the University of Würzburg. The first two semesters give a solid foundation in economics: a 20-ECTS core in the main areas of microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics, followed by 40 ECTS of core electives from economics that let you choose your own specialisation. In the second year you write a policy- or research-oriented seminar paper, ideally in the third semester, and then a six-month, 30-ECTS master's thesis, preferably at an economics department. Double degree options with the University of Ghent or the University of Verona let you earn two master's degrees in two years. It suits graduates in economics or management with a quantitative background.
