About the programme
Transnational Law is a one-year Master's programme (60 ECTS) at the University of Bremen's Faculty of Law, taught entirely in English, so German is not required. New students start in the winter semester only. You take three mandatory modules, Transnational Law I on private governance and regulation, Transnational Law II on its public law side, and the methodology of transnational law, plus four electives from a long list that includes economic, health, labour, migration, maritime, IT, company, environmental and criminal law, human rights, comparative law, dispute resolution and a moot court. The thesis module includes a writing seminar, the thesis and an oral defence. Requirements include a four-year law degree of at least 240 credits (three-year degrees are not accepted), English at C1, a motivation letter and a CV.
