About the programme
International Literatures (Internationale Literatur) is a German-taught Master of Arts at the University of Augsburg over 4 semesters, with open admission and entry in winter or summer. It treats literature as a phenomenon that crosses national, cultural and media boundaries, and builds advanced skills in comparative work across national literatures, comparative analysis of texts and other media, and philology. It builds on the Bachelor's in comparative literature but also welcomes lateral entrants from other subjects with a philological link, with at least 60 credits related to comparative or general literature. Graduates work in publishing, journalism, public relations, cultural institutions and research. You need German at C1 and two foreign languages at B2, one of which can be sound knowledge of Latin.
