About the programme
Taxation is a Master of Arts at FHDW Hannover that prepares business graduates for a career in tax and lays the academic foundation for leadership roles. You learn to develop tax strategies that improve company performance, advise on tax matters in in-house projects or for clients of a tax firm, and apply compliance and business law knowledge, including in the public sector. The programme builds a systematic understanding of tax law as a basis for Germany's tax adviser exam: the programme includes a preparation course with Lehrgangswerk Haas, and the Master shortens the practical experience needed to sit the exam to two years. You can decide each time whether to attend classes in person or online, which makes it easier to combine with work. The programme lasts three semesters, starts in winter and is taught in German.
