About the programme
The International Master of Landscape Architecture (IMLA) is a Master of Engineering run jointly by Nürtingen-Geislingen University and Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, both in southern Germany. It is a demanding, practice-oriented programme built on five subject areas: projects, international planning and design in Europe, planning and project management, information technologies in planning and design, and planning and design methods. Training is aligned with what the labour market needs, and graduates work as experts on complex tasks in European planning contexts. It is aimed at graduates in landscape architecture or related fields such as landscape conservation, physical and environmental planning, architecture or other subjects with a planning focus. The programme lasts three semesters, or four with an internship, starts in March, and is accredited by ASAP. It is taught in English.
