Nurtingen-Geislingen University (NGU)

Tuition

Tuition fees apply for non-EU students

Public universities in Baden-Württemberg charge non-EU and non-EEA students 1,500 EUR per semester for Bachelor's and consecutive Master's programmes, a state rule in place since 2017. EU and EEA students, and anyone with a German higher-education entrance qualification, are exempt. Private universities set their own, usually higher, fees. Check Nurtingen-Geislingen University (NGU)'s fee page for its exact amount. You also pay a semester contribution (Semesterbeitrag) of roughly 70 to 460 EUR, set by each university, which often includes a public transport pass.

Estimated monthly living costs (general estimate)

International students also need to show proof of funds (a blocked account, currently €11,904/yr (approx. €992/mo)) for the student visa. Use our blocked account calculator and cost of living calculator for a personalised estimate.
