Applicants whose undergraduate degree is from abroad apply through uni-assist. Some programmes are exceptions: continuing education Master's programmes, and the programmes whose application and enrolment take place at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, are not applied for through uni-assist and may have different deadlines.

For English-taught programmes (except Global Logistics and Leadership & Psychology) you apply from September to 15 October for the summer semester and from January to 15 April for the winter semester. Global Logistics and Leadership & Psychology run from October to 15 December (summer) and May to 15 June (winter). Most German-taught programmes close on 15 January (summer) and 15 July (winter).

The English-taught list includes Advanced Architecture, Electrical Engineering - Renewable Energy, Global Logistics, High Integrity Systems and Information Technology (all M.Sc.) and Leadership & Psychology (M.A.). You must prove the required English level when you apply.

Only for the German-taught programmes. These are taught in German and partly in English, and you must prove the required German level, plus English if the programme asks for it. You cannot choose the teaching language yourself.

For winter semester 2026/27, new students pay 416.78 euros for enrolment and enrolled students pay 406.78 euros to re-register. The fee includes 226.80 euros for the Deutschlandticket, 106.50 euros for the Studierendenwerk and a 50 euro administration fee. The fee changes each semester.

No. Frankfurt UAS does not own any dorms. Public dorms are run by the Studierendenwerk, where you can register, but the waiting times are long, so you need to find a room yourself. The university says an average room of 10 to 15 square metres with shared bathroom and kitchen costs 650 euros.

You apply with the online form, which puts you on the waiting list. You can apply at any time, even before your enrolment is confirmed, but you need a certificate of enrolment when you sign the lease. The waiting time depends on demand; if you only want one flat, it can be over a year. You pay two months' rent as a deposit.
