About the programme
Life Science Innovation (LSI) is a research-oriented Master's at Albstadt-Sigmaringen University that prepares you to develop and improve products and processes in the life science industry, for example environmentally friendly packaging or new food and pharmaceutical products. In three semesters you gain research qualifications: a holistic view of industrial processes including regulation, knowledge of product and process innovation, and the ability to work independently on scientific problems with sustainability in mind. You also learn to write research proposals and publish your results, and you can join research projects at the InnovationsCampus Sigmaringen. The programme is taught entirely in English. All modules are on campus, though you can also study from home and only need to be at the university a few times a week. Graduates can work in food, pharma and cosmetics production, process engineering and plant construction, or research institutes.
