About the programme
Infrastructure: Water and Transport is a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) run jointly by Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in Giessen, with courses in both cities. It takes 3 semesters (90 ECTS) full-time, or 5 semesters part-time, and you can start in summer or winter. Teaching is in German and English. You learn the technical, operational and organisational sides of infrastructure in water and transport, weighing social, ecological and economic factors. The project-based programme focuses on planning, maintaining and optimising the operation of plants and structures. You can mix broad modules in management, law and environment with electives from water, transport or both. Graduates combine engineering and business skills to work as project managers in planning, operation and management. Requirements include a degree in civil engineering, railway engineering or a planning-related field with a grade of 2.8 or better and at least 20 credits in infrastructure.
