About the programme

The Community Health Nursing Master's at Witten/Herdecke University is for nurses who want more than traditional nursing care. Community Health Nurses are academic specialists with a Master's degree, and this programme prepares you for that role. You work on prevention and health promotion, the coordination of complex care services, and learn in a practice-oriented way how to take over certain medical services that are still the job of doctors today. Along the way you build a high level of decision-making skill. Teaching is in German. The programme lasts four semesters. It suits nurses who want to help shape the future of healthcare and primary care.
