About the programme
Social Work: Shaping Diversity is a German-taught Master of Arts at Landshut University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Landshut) that teaches diversity-sensitive professional, social, methodological and personal skills in social work. You develop diversity-sensitive concepts, guiding principles, processes and participatory intervention strategies to move social and institutional change forward. Where possible, classes are grouped on three weekdays and block weekends, so the programme fits students who work. It runs for 3 semesters with 90 ECTS and starts in the winter semester. Note that this master's does not lead to state recognition as a social pedagogue, which only a matching bachelor's gives. It suits graduates in social work or a similar programme.
