About the programme
The Master's in Architecture at TUM in Munich is a full-time, four-semester Master of Arts with 120 ECTS, starting in the winter semester (October), with German as the required language. Building on a Bachelor's in architecture, it lets you concentrate on your own areas of interest through lectures, your own project work and self-study. You can follow a programme defined freely with a mentor, or one of four defined areas of concentration, and design-oriented project work is central in every specialisation. The aim is a comprehensive university education that prepares you to take responsibility for society and the built environment. Graduates are ready for senior roles in the planning process, can handle complex design tasks and work successfully and entrepreneurially. A high level of commitment is expected, and admission is through an aptitude assessment.
