About the programme
Health Sciences and Management is a German-taught Master of Science at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences on the Kleve campus. Rather than patient care, it focuses on scientifically sound measures for health promotion, prevention and the economic management of health, with an emphasis on empirical health research. The first semester includes health economics, environment and health, innovation management and health promotion and prevention, plus research methods and a first applied research project. The second covers occupational health management, nutrition, European health systems and policy, ethics in healthcare and healthcare business management, with a second applied research project with partners from the field. The third semester is for your master's thesis and colloquium. The programme lasts three semesters full time or six part time, also work-integrated and starts on 1 September or 1 March. It suits graduates in health sciences, natural sciences or economics.
