About the programme

Land Use Transformation is an English-taught, interdisciplinary Master of Science at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences on Campus Haste. It is a full-time, four-semester programme with starts in the summer semester (March) and winter semester (September), and 24 places a year. It explores current challenges and practical solutions for the sustainable use of land and its resources, focusing on agriculture and nutrition security, materials and resource management, and land use planning and spatial design. Modules, projects and labs link theory to case studies and real-world problems. You gain hands-on experience in three large group projects on sustainable land use, with topics such as resilient landscapes, life cycle assessment and communication between land planners and land users. Work in small international groups builds intercultural and communication skills, and the curriculum lets you follow your own interests.
