About the programme
Mind, Brain and Behavior at Justus Liebig University Giessen is an international Master of Science taught in English, over 4 semesters with 120 credit points. It builds core skills for careers in academic or industrial research in psychology, cognitive neuroscience and the behavioural sciences, combining theory with hands-on methods courses on measuring and modelling perception, neural processes and behaviour, taught by experts. Understanding human perception and behaviour matters more and more in fields such as human-machine interaction, virtual reality, autonomous driving, cognitive robotics, machine learning and artificial neural networks. In the first year you complete four theoretical modules, three application modules and two electives, and you finish your final application module in the third semester. You write your Master's thesis, usually an experimental research project in an associated department, in the final semester. English at B2 level is required.
