About the programme
Textile Design is a 3-semester Master of Arts at Hof University of Applied Sciences, based at the Münchberg research campus and starting in the summer semester. It brings together design, application and technology, so you build expertise across textile design, technical textiles and sustainable production, and learn to create complex surfaces and innovative textile solutions. Alongside the compulsory modules you choose three electives per semester, at least one of them in design, so you can specialise in what interests you, and the third semester is the Master's thesis. The project-focused programme draws on Hof's expertise in design, textile technology, sustainability and project management. It suits graduates in textile, apparel or product design, architecture, interior design or a related field with 210 credits, a grade of 2.5 and German at A1.
