About the programme
Public Health is a German-taught, research-oriented Master of Science (M.Sc.) at Fulda University of Applied Sciences, worth 120 ECTS and starting in the winter semester. The page lists standard durations of 4 and 6 semesters and includes a part-time option for people who work at least half-time in a public health field. You study how social, political, economic and environmental conditions shape the health of the population, including disadvantaged groups. Elective modules include health promotion, social epidemiology, health technology assessment, environment and health, and participation in health, with an international health track or a semester abroad. In the fourth semester you do applied research for your Master's thesis. Regular classes run on Mondays and Tuesdays. It suits you if you aim for planning and management roles in health insurers, care institutions or health authorities, or for research. Applicants with a foreign school certificate need German at C1.
