About the programme
Risk Management and Financial Analysis is a German-taught, part-time Master of Science at the University of Oldenburg for people in work. You learn to make business decisions under uncertainty, using methods and analytical tools to calculate and evaluate risks. Mandatory modules cover quantitative methods, R for financial data analysis, risk management and regulation, financial markets and financial instruments. You then choose six electives, such as Monte Carlo methods, data science and machine learning, quantitative risk management, insurance risk models, default risk and rating, asset liability management, risk communication and company valuation. Blended learning mixes short in-person blocks with online sessions. Requirements include a Bachelor's or equivalent degree and one year of professional experience.
