About the programme
Biological Sciences at the University of Konstanz is a research-focused Master's with all courses taught in English. It offers a wide choice of advanced courses across the biosciences and prepares you for a future in research and teaching. Besides general biosciences, you can apply for a focus track in Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour, Cellular and Molecular Biology, or Disease Biology. Seminars run in small groups of no more than 15 students, each course centres on current research topics, and there is a strong emphasis on methods, with up-to-date research equipment. The programme includes an integrated internship at an external research institute or a private company, in Germany or abroad. You can start in the winter or the summer semester. Students with outstanding results can move straight into doctoral studies through a fast track without a Master's thesis. It suits motivated graduates in biological sciences or a comparable subject.
