About the programme

Economics is the University of Freiburg's largest English-taught programme, an M.Sc. over 4 semesters with 120 credits, starting in the winter semester. It builds a deep understanding of economic relationships and how to apply that knowledge to societal challenges, with a strong research focus and a lively international community. Using modern quantitative methods and data-driven analysis, you learn to tackle complex economic problems rigorously and work with others on current research questions. It prepares you for careers in research, policy consulting, international organisations or strategic management. You need English at C1 and a background that meets the programme's admission regulations.
