About the programme
Clean Energy Processes (CEP) at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg is a research-oriented Master of Science that prepares you to work as an engineer at a high scientific level. It offers two specialisations: energy technologies, which covers methods for developing and implementing new technologies to generate and convert renewable energy, and energy systems, which covers designing process chains for producing, using and integrating renewable energy in the energy system and in chemical processes. You choose modules from both specialisations to build a profile that fits your background and interests. The study plan includes lab courses, specialisation modules, compulsory and elective modules, seminars, an internship and a Master's thesis, which must be written in English. Elective modules can be chosen from almost all FAU modules. It suits engineering graduates who want to work on renewable energy technologies and systems.
