About the programme
This Double Master's Programme in Health Economics and Management is run by the University of Cologne with Maastricht University and taught in English over 4 semesters and 120 credits: the first year is in Cologne and the second in Maastricht. You graduate with two degrees, an M.Sc. in Health Economics from Cologne and an M.Sc. in Healthcare Policy, Innovation and Management from Maastricht. The programme builds a deep understanding of today's healthcare sector, strong training in advanced research methods, and expertise in management, economics and innovation for strategic decisions. Maastricht teaches through problem-based learning, and you write your Master's thesis in the second year. Graduates can go into management roles in hospitals, providers, health insurers and consulting firms, policy roles in public institutions, or research.
