About the programme
Organismic Biology, Evolutionary Biology and Palaeobiology (OEP Biology) is an English-taught Master of Science at the University of Bonn that gives a broad understanding of all aspects of organismic biology. Evolutionary biology and biodiversity research bring together disciplines such as systematics, phylogenetics, palaeobiology, physiology, ecology, molecular biology and ethology. You learn a wide range of research methods for working in international and interdisciplinary research groups, and you gain practical experience in the field, in the labs of participating research groups, and in the collections of the Alexander Koenig Research Museum, the Goldfuss Museum for Paleontology and the university's botanical gardens. The programme lasts four semesters and starts in the winter semester. It suits graduates in the life sciences or a related field.
