About the programme

Process Engineering and Energy Technology (PEET) at Hochschule Bremerhaven is a three-semester, English-language Master of Science with many international students. Process engineering develops technical processes that turn substances into usable products by chemical, physical or biological means, and it tackles questions such as replacing fossil fuels with renewable raw materials or turning seawater into drinking water. The field links mechanical engineering, chemistry and biology. The programme focuses on internationality and modern teaching methods, and you apply and expand theory in well-equipped labs and in direct cooperation with research institutions, with close supervision by professors and staff. It accepts students every semester. It suits graduates of related Bachelor's programmes such as bioengineering, chemical engineering or process engineering, with 210 ECTS and a German grade of 2.3 or better.
