About the programme
Design for Digital Futures is a 4-semester Master of Arts at TH Nürnberg's Faculty of Design, taught entirely in English and starting in the winter semester. It combines computer science with applied design research: building on computer technology, computational design, generative design and artificial intelligence, you develop and carry out your own digital design projects. The first two semesters build skills in computational design, applied mathematical methods and design research. The third semester is a compulsory semester abroad at a partner university, and the fourth is the Master's thesis, which should bring technology and design together. The programme is non-consecutive, so students from different backgrounds work side by side. It suits graduates of a 180-credit Bachelor's in design or a related field with English at B2 level.
