About the programme
Financial Management and Controlling is a Master of Arts at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI), taught mainly in German with English-taught modules. It deepens your expertise in management accounting, corporate finance, accounting and taxation through a practical, data-driven and strategic approach, with seminars, case studies and real-world projects with industry partners. Modules include financial management basics, international accounting and auditing under IFRS and HGB, and international tax planning. A four-week summer school in China and the option of a semester abroad build an international outlook. The programme runs full time in Ingolstadt for three semesters (90 ECTS) and starts in summer or winter. It suits graduates of an economics degree. Graduates work in controlling, corporate finance, treasury, accounting, tax, risk management and financial planning.
