About the programme
Transportation Economics and Data Science at TU Dresden is a four-semester Master of Science taught in English, starting in the winter semester, with part-time study over eight semesters possible. Mobility shapes social and economic life and the environment, and transport is changing through automated driving, electric vehicles, drones, sharing and mobility platforms, big data, smart roads, charging stations and new ways of financing. The programme gives you the knowledge and methods to understand, research and design mobility in terms of its economic, ecological and spatial effects. A 25-credit compulsory module builds the methods base. In 65 credits of electives you take at least four modules from five specialisations: computational logistics, transport policy, spatial and environmental economics, statistics, and data analytics in transportation, plus a research seminar and supplementary courses, which can include a professional internship. It suits graduates interested in the economics and data of transport.
