About the programme

The Master's in Design at Reutlingen University's Faculty of Textiles (TEXOVERSUM) is a three-semester programme where technical knowledge meets creativity. You choose a focus such as Fashion Design, with collection development from concept to market-ready product; Textile and Material Design, or Transportation Interior Design, for future mobility and vehicle concepts. The Artistic Conception focus is no longer offered from summer 2026. The second semester is a project semester, which you can do at the university, as a research project, at an international partner university or in a company. You write your Master's thesis in the third semester. It starts only in the summer semester. It suits graduates of a related design degree.
