About the programme
Management natürlicher Ressourcen (Management of Natural Resources) is a 2-year M.Sc. at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg with 120 credits, starting in the winter semester only and taught in English and German, so international applicants also need German for university study. It combines geosciences and agricultural sciences in an interdisciplinary approach to the environmental compartments water, soil and plants, with lectures, labs, field courses, excursions and regional or international project work. Electives worth 60 credits let you specialise, though some are taught only in German. Cooperation with research centres such as the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research brings contact with practice. It prepares you for work in environmental, spatial and landscape planning, consultancies, agencies and research, and qualifies you for PhD positions.
