About the programme
Economics and Transformation (M.Sc.) at Leuphana University Lüneburg is an English-language, research-oriented economics programme with a clear empirical focus. It lasts four semesters, carries 120 credits and starts on 1 October, with 25 study places. The guiding theme is evidence-based economic decision-making, by individuals, companies, institutions and governments, and the curriculum centres on empirical methods of policy evaluation and data-driven economic analysis. These skills are applied to challenges such as climate change, artificial intelligence, demographic change and the future of globalisation. You choose an interdisciplinary specialisation in one of three profile areas: Finance Studies, Political Studies or Sustainability Studies.
