About the programme

Sustainable Chemistry at Justus Liebig University Giessen is an international, research-oriented Master of Science of 4 semesters and 120 credit points, taught entirely in English and starting only in the winter semester. You gain theoretical and practical depth in synthesis, analysis and evaluation from a sustainability perspective, and you are involved early in current research projects. The programme includes three elective modules from chemistry or other subjects. Requirements include a Bachelor's with at least 180 ECTS in line with the GDCh recommendations for chemistry degrees, and English at B2 level.
