Prerequisites
You need a bachelor's degree in molecular medicine or in the same field with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters/180 CP.
Equivalent German or foreign degrees in the same or a related field of study with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters/180 CP are also possible.

You need English language skills (level B2). Information on proof of language proficiency can be found in the corresponding examination regulations (opens in a new tab) or in this overview (opens in a new tab).
Participation in a selection interview
A selection interview will be conducted to determine whether the special professional requirements (previous education in the subjects of biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, molecular biology and physiology) are met. Further information can be found on the department's website.
Please note that while provisional certificates are accepted if the applicant does not hold a Bachelor's degree at the time point of application yet, admission is not possible with less than 144 ECTS points and a Bachelor certificate must be handed in during the first semester. If the candidate does have a degree in a study program which might be related to Molecular Medicine: if the study program at hand is considered related or not will be checked as part of the application procedure based on the provided documents. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to determine whether a study program is related or not outside of the application process.
Successful candidates must have a final grade of 2.5 or better, calculated from the grade of the bachelor degree (51%) and the grade of the online assessment (49%). Candidates will be informed via email, usually within one week after the interview.
