About the programme
Risk Assessment and Sustainability Management (RASUM) is a four-semester Master of Science at Hochschule Darmstadt (h_da), taught mainly in German. It asks how risks and opportunities can be assessed and how proactive sustainability management can be built on that, for companies that want to make sustainable development part of their strategy. Working in interdisciplinary teams, you learn to handle uncertainty in a systematic way, use the relevant methods and tools, and start and guide change processes, linking scientific and technical views with organisational, economic and social ones. Teaching combines lectures and seminars with transdisciplinary project studies over two semesters. The programme starts in the winter semester. It is aimed at graduates of technical subjects with a grounding in business, or of economics, social sciences or law with basic science and engineering knowledge. Graduates work in management, risk management, strategy consulting, and governance, risk and compliance.
