About the programme

Business Administration and Economics (Wirtschaftswissenschaften) at Bielefeld University is a four-semester Master of Science worth 120 credit points, with starts in the winter or the summer semester. It combines business administration and economics and has a quantitative, methods-based approach to teaching. You build in-depth subject knowledge and the methods to solve economic problems, along with social and ethical skills. On a broad base you then specialise through profiles: accounting, taxes and finance; data science, with decision and operation technologies; economics, studied empirically and theoretically; financial markets; management science, which combines quantitative methods with selected areas of business and microeconomics; and management, innovation and marketing. An international management and economics profile lets exchange students count work done abroad. It suits graduates who want flexible career options across many fields of business and economics.
