About the programme

Finance at accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg, near Frankfurt am Main, is a two-year Master's programme over six trimesters, worth 120 ECTS and taught in English. You can study full time, dual or alongside work, starting in October, or in January for full-time study. The programme deepens core finance topics such as financial statement analysis, valuation, advanced corporate finance, applied global finance, risk management, international taxation and capital markets law. The curriculum follows selected content of the CFA exams, so you build knowledge in financial analysis and investment management, though the university is not affiliated with the CFA Institute. Small learning groups, close contact with teachers and companies, leadership skills, and a semester abroad or international practice and project formats are part of the programme. It suits business graduates, straight after their Bachelor's or after first work experience, aiming for corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, financial advisory or consulting.

  • A Bachelor's degree in a business or management-related subject with min. 180 credit points (ECTS)
  • English language proficiency with required IELTS Academic (6.5 or higher), TOEFL iBT (80 or higher), PTE Academic (56 or higher) or Duolingo English Test (120 or higher) certificate.
  • Applicants who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree in English and/or in English-speaking countries whose first language is English can be exempt from having to prove the English language level
  • Undergraduate students in their final academic year are qualified to apply

Important Note about English language proficiency and proof:

  • IELTS: Once applicants receive their score report from IELTS, they will find the TRF number (Test Report Form number) on the bottom right-hand side of the score report.   • Academic program: €23,520 (payment in three installments)
  • Admission fee: € 800
  • You have the possibility to apply for our Performance-based Partial Scholarships for Enrolled International Graduate Students on completion of the first academic year at accadis in a Master's degree program.
