What you'll do
- Support CFD calculation for combustion engines with a focus on system simulation to increase performance
- Prepare calculable CFD meshes from CAD for 1D simulation with GT Suite (GEM3D)
- Optimize assemblies based on test and calculation results to improve the lifetime, efficiency and performance of the combustion engine
- Support component validation using simulation
- Coordinate between simulation, testing and design
What you need
- Studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or energy engineering (university/university of applied sciences) with an additional focus on electromobility or mechatronics
- In-depth knowledge of calculating thermodynamic processes
- Relevant experience in 1D CFD with common CFD processors, preferably GT Suite
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge of the components of electrified drive systems, especially the function and design of combustion engines
- Advanced English skills required for international collaboration
