About the programme
The Master of Science in Management and Markets at the University of Siegen lasts four semesters, is taught in German and English, and can start in the winter or summer semester. It centres on understanding human behaviour in business and economic contexts. You look at how companies position themselves in labour, product and information markets, build relationships with employees and customers, and adopt new technologies. The core courses build on your bachelor's foundation and deepen your expertise in business and economics. Working closely with faculty, you develop the skills to tackle complex business and economic challenges in domestic and global markets. The programme prepares you for leadership roles in business, consulting and public sector organisations, and career options include management, human resources, marketing, management consultancy, an academic career or doctorate, and self-employment.

Application if you have not yet completed your bachelor's degree
If the application for a place at university is based on a bachelor's degree that has not yet been successfully completed, a current transcript of records must be uploaded instead of the final certificate; either this transcript of records must contain a provisional overall grade, or the transcript of records must be supplemented by a separate certificate of the provisional overall grade.
If, at the time of application, more than 40 credit points (according to ECTS) are missing to complete the program, the application must be accompanied by a forecast from the home institution that the degree can be obtained in the summer semester of 2025. Otherwise, it will be assumed that a degree in the summer semester of 2025 is no longer possible, and the application will not be considered.
If the degree program has not yet been completed, provisional and conditional admission to the Master's program at the University of Siegen may be granted. However, subsequent final admission for the 2025/2026 winter semester is only possible if the program is completed during the 2025 summer semester. (As a general rule, the day on which the final examination of the program is taken is the decisive date; if the Bachelor's thesis is the final achievement, then the day on which the Bachelor's thesis is submitted is generally the decisive date.)
