About the programme
Mathematics in Data and Technology is an English-taught M.Sc. at the University of Freiburg over 4 semesters with 120 credits, starting in the winter semester. It gives in-depth knowledge of applied mathematics and related fields used in data analysis, such as AI, machine learning and the simulation of real-world processes. You can specialise in numerics, stochastics or optimisation and choose electives in computer science, economics and other fields, and a practical module lets you gain experience through an internship or a larger programming project. Graduates can work in data analysis, digital engineering, deep learning and AI methods, risk modelling and software development. You need English at B2.
