About the programme

Global Business Management is an M.Sc. at the University of Augsburg over 4 semesters, starting in the winter semester, which can be completed entirely in English, though German modules are also offered. It deepens business skills in an international context, with specialisations in Sustainability or Innovation & Entrepreneurship, a project in research or consulting, and an obligatory semester abroad at one of more than 188 partner universities, such as Indiana University Bloomington or the University of Bergamo. The Master's thesis can be written in Augsburg, abroad or in a company. It suits graduates with a sound business and economics background who want international management roles. You need English at C1, for example TOEFL iBT 95 or IELTS 6.5.

Specialization

Two Concentrations to choose from 1. Sustainability: The sustainable use of natural, productive, and financial resources is one of the central themes of a globalized economy. In this more economically focused concentration, students can either acquire a broad knowledge of ethical and sustainable business practices or deepen their knowledge of environmental and development economics. Students must choose three modules. 2. Innovation & Entrepreneurship: The increasing importance of knowledge-intensive industries, the deconstruction of value chains, international competition between regions, and declining economies of scale in production are leading to a shift from an industrial society to a global "entrepreneurial society." To shape this transformation, special skills are required in management and administration. The Innovation & Entrepreneurship concentration is dedicated to teaching these skills. Three modules are available to choose from.
