About the programme
Business Education I (Wirtschaftspädagogik) at TUM is a four-semester Master of Science with 120 ECTS for Bachelor's graduates in economics and business who want to combine economic thinking with teaching. It prepares you to work as a teacher at vocational schools or as a human resources or further-education manager in business. Teaching is usually in German, although some courses may be taught in English. You can apply for the winter or the summer semester. Admission works in stages: your Bachelor's grades and written documents, including a written statement, are scored with a point system, and depending on your points you are admitted directly, rejected or invited to an admissions interview. The programme is run by the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology.

Minimum requirements to apply for a Master’s program at TUM are a recognized undergraduate degree (e.g. a Bachelor’s) and the successful completion of the aptitude assessment procedure. The aptitude assessment allows the TUM school to which you are applying to evaluate your individual talents and motivation for study.
