About the programme
The Master in Management at TUM in Munich is a full-time, four-semester Master of Science with 120 ECTS, starting in the winter semester (October). Teaching is usually in English, with some courses possibly in German. It is aimed mainly at graduates with a Bachelor's in the natural sciences, engineering or life sciences who want to combine that knowledge with management expertise and shape how companies change in response to technology. You add expertise in finance and accounting, innovation and entrepreneurship, planning and leadership, modelling and decision-making, and economic and political processes, plus soft skills to bridge business and technical cultures. The first two semesters build basics in management (36 ECTS), economics (6 ECTS) and law (6 ECTS). In the third semester you specialise through electives, project studies or study abroad, and a written Master's thesis (30 ECTS) completes the programme in the fourth.
