About the programme

Global Management and Digital Competencies (MGM) is an English-taught MSc at ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, that prepares you for a global management career in the age of digital transformation. You start at a partner school in France, Ireland, Italy or Canada and continue at ESB in Reutlingen from February, with a single or double degree; in the final phase you can be anywhere. The standard duration is 15 months, plus 6 months if you do an integrated internship or write your thesis with a company, and you start in the winter semester. You learn how digitalisation affects organisations, build solid business knowledge for companies that operate globally, and develop communication, analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills for intercultural settings. The programme is part of the International Partnership of Business Schools (IPBS) network. The page says the application window is currently closed and expected to reopen in mid-January.

Prerequisites

  • First degree with 210 (3.5 years) or 180 (3 years) ECTS and a grade of at least 2.5 (German grading system) (2.3 for German-Canadian link).
  • Applicants with 180 ECTS credits must complete an integrated six-month internship. Relevant professional experience gained after the first degree may be recognized instead.
  • Applicants require at least six months of relevant full-time (or equivalent part-time) professional experience from the start of their bachelor's degree. This may include internships.
  • Graduates of the following disciplines are eligible to apply: Business Administration or a related field. Graduates of non-business studies are also eligible to apply, provided they have completed at least four modules in business administration, including two from quantitative areas (e.g., accounting, financial management, economics, statistics, logistics).
