About the programme
Human Resources Management is a German-taught M.Sc. at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg over 4 semesters with 120 credits, starting in the winter semester. It brings together business, social science, law and psychology to train specialists and managers who can shape the changing world of work and handle current and future HR challenges. Following an engaged scholarship approach, it links research and practice closely, with innovative teaching formats, projects with practice partners and work on AI in HR. The programme combines 35 credits of compulsory modules, 65 credits of electives in core business areas, HRM and methods, and HRM and strategy, and a 20-credit Master's thesis. Some courses are in English. Graduates work in HR management, HR development and consulting, or go on to a doctorate.

Prerequisites
The prerequisite for admission is proof of a university degree qualifying for a profession (usually Bachelor's) in a degree programme with economics modules of at least 60 CP and a final grade of 2.5 or better.
Sound English skills and the confident handling of English-language literature are strongly recommended. Individual courses and examinations are offered in English.

If you are unable to submit the certificate of the first university degree qualifying for a profession until after the application deadline, submit an overview of subjects and grades of at least 2/3 of the total achievements to be achieved in your studies with the application documents. The certificate must be submitted by 31.03 of the following year at the latest when enrolling in the winter semester.
