About the programme
The Arts and Cultural Management Masters at Leuphana University Lüneburg is an English-language, professional distance-learning programme run by the Professional School with the Goethe-Institut. It trains cultural professionals from around the world to deal with transformation processes in the culture sector, combining cultural and business studies. You can take a three-term version worth 60 credit points or a four-term version worth 90 credit points, studied online alongside work with two one-week block seminars in Lüneburg, and a September start. Content includes management and finance, culture marketing and branding, organisational development, audience development, international partnerships, law in cultural organisations, sustainability and culture policy. Case studies and projects based on real scenarios are central, and you can bring problems from your own work. Teaching staff include experienced culture managers, for example from the Goethe-Institut.
