About the programme

Business Management (Unternehmensführung, MU) is a Master of Science at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, part of its Graduate School, which holds AACSB accreditation. It is for business graduates and prepares you for management tasks: you learn strategic aspects of running a company, how business functions connect, and how leaders make decisions across departments. Modules include strategic management, compliance and ethics, and research methods. The programme normally takes three semesters (90 ECTS), with a four-semester, 120 ECTS route possible, and starts in winter or summer. Depending on the course, teaching is in German or English. It is full time, though many students also work part time. How to apply

Step-by-step guide to applying for Business Management at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences

Application procedure

Apply for your studies in two steps

Step 1: Get diplomas/ certificates recognized

Step 2: Apply to your target universities

Before you can apply to study at a university of applied sciences in Baden- Württemberg, you first need to have your certificates recognized. This recognition is done by us, the Center for international Studients (Studienkolleg) and is free of charge. You can apply to have your documents recognized at any time. However, please note, that the process often takes a few weeks. Keep this in mind in terms of the universities’ application deadlines.

The Studienkolleg makes its decisions based on the guidelines from the Central Office for Foreign Education ("ZaB").

If your previous diplomas / certificates do not entitle you to study at an institute of higher education, you have the option of gaining these prerequisites by attending the Studienkolleg’s two-semester preparatory programs.

After completing this program, you must then pass a kind of final exam called the “Feststellungsprüfung” before you can apply to a university.
