About the programme
International Business is an English-taught Master of Science (M.Sc.) at HAW Hamburg on the Berliner Tor campus. It is a full-time, three-semester programme worth 90 ECTS that starts in the winter semester only. You take five required modules in your first winter semester and five more in the summer semester, then do a research project in the next winter semester and write it up as your Master's thesis. The curriculum covers the global marketplace from strategic, quantitative, technological, intercultural and legal angles, with case analysis and integrated modelling rather than a focus on one sector. You study in a small, culturally diverse group. It is aimed at graduates in international business, international management or economics with a strong international focus, with a 210-credit degree and set credits in international economics. Requirements include English at C1. With a 180-credit Bachelor's you must make up 30 more credits to enrol fully.
