About the programme

Sales & Service Engineering is a part-time MBA at Furtwangen University (HFU) that prepares working professionals for demanding management roles. It covers general management, with strategy, controlling, finance and personnel management; marketing and sales across the whole product life cycle; service management, showing how sales, marketing and service can be bundled into one offer; international management; and information management. Lectures take place at weekends on Fridays and Saturdays, with two full weeks on campus and an international workshop in Groningen in the Netherlands. Professors and guest lecturers teach half their lectures in German and half in English. If you start in the winter semester you finish in three semesters; starting in the summer semester takes four, with the workload spread out. It suits working graduates who speak both German and English.

Additional fee information

The regular tuition fees are €2100 per semester (plus student semester fees).

As an MBA programme, we are committed to promoting talent. We therefore award an MBA scholarship each semester if we consider an applicant to be particularly suitable. The sponsorship is worth over €3,000 – half of the tuition fees are waived for three semesters through the financial support.

Criteria for receiving the support include special achievements in previous studies and during professional activity, in-depth specialist knowledge and experience abroad. Funding is awarded after all applications have been received.

Exact criteria (§ 6 fee waiver)

An informal application with a separate cover letter, submitted together with the application for a study place, is sufficient for the application for financial support. Please enclose the relevant supporting documents!
